Well, let’s see. First thing’s first, I should say that I am American, born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love that really isn’t:

Duck!
(But I really do love this city, I swear.)

I am a Jewish 20-something male and a physics major at a small but famous technical university. The basis for the rest of this entry will be stolen from an old anthropology professor of mine (whose blog you can check out here: http://dailycherez.com/).

10 things about me:

  1. I am an elitist bastard.
  2. I do not know everything, but I sometimes pretend to and see how many people follow me.
  3. I am a martial artist.
  4. I am interested in just about everything, and most of what I’ve learned about the world I’ve learned by talking to people who know more than me.
  5. I love cultures and languages.
  6. I read some manga and watch some anime, but generally shun the otaku subculture.
  7. I take an interest in computers and electronics, but generally shun the tecchie subculture.
  8. I love listening to music, but have no talent for playing it.
  9. I spread myself very thin, taking in a lot of everything and never going too deeply into one subject.
  10. All of these entries started with “I”.

So call me Toomin; I’ll be your guide to a world that nobody really cares all that much about!
